Invasive Species Biology Diagrams This Special Issue is intended to provide an overview synthesis and empirical examples of ecosystem effects of invasive species interactions in food web ecology. The research showed the invasive fish populations grew over time for decades. After 50 years, lake trout were the dominant apex predator in these food webs.
